Istanbul Modern, which realized sharing Turkey’s cultural identity in an international platform with international art enthusiasts and applied the contemporary museology understanding for the first time in our country, hosts interdisciplinary and interactive events, and forms a social platform that can reach out to art enthusiasts of all ages.
While national and international exhibitions, retrospectives are displayed, at the same time various fields of art such as music, theatre, dance, cinema, literature are included. Constant and fixed term exhibition venues, photography galleries, library, cinema, educational and social programs, museum shop and restaurant all make sure that Istanbul Modern includes a multi dimensional service area. Current and permanent programs that call for creating and producing together, ensure effective participation, share creativity are organized by Istanbul Modern, making it an educational and communication institution where daily life meets with culture.
