Topkapı Palace

One of our culture heritages with which we can proud of our history is the Topkapi Palace that has 1001 tales. This magnicifent work of art that is the biggest among the Ottoman palaces which have an excellent architecture and add value to the siluet of Istanbul is not only a palace, but a chain of palaces.

The Topkapi Palace which includes mansions and suites and is the largest of the palaces is the jewellery of Halic and Bosphorus. This palace that is work of the chief architect Alauddin, Davut Aga, Sarkis Balyan and Mimar Sinan is a masterpiece in the Ottoman architecture. This palace with its Turkish china Works within it, its Ottoman items, woodworks and architecture styles is a great masterpiece of the Turkish art. It is one of the most important culture entities our country has with its yards, harem sections, guns, carpets, scatters, clothes, porcelain and watch collections, relics, sultan portraits and its legends.

Museum is open everyday except Tuesdays.

Winter Season: Between October 30th – April 15th

Museum, Harem and Hagia Irene can be visited between 9:00 AM – 4:45 PM

Attention: Ticket booths close at 4:00 PM

Summer Season: Between April 15th – October 30th

Museum, Harem and Hagia Irene can be visited between 9:00 AM – 6:45 PM

Attention: Ticket booths close at 6:00 PM

Ticket Price for one person for the main entrance is  40 TL except Harem Section

Harem and Halberdiers with Tresses Dormitory Ticket : 25 TL

If you want to visit Harem and Halberdiers with Tresses Dormitory Ticket you have to buy a seperate ticket from the ticket booths where stands outside of the museum or in front of the Harem  entrance.

Ticket Price for one person for the Harem and Halberdiers with Tresses Dormitory Ticket entrance is 25 TL.
